Service for Doris Valdine Story, 87, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the Greenacres Mausoleum Chapel. Pastor Kevin Bentley and Pastor Greg Robinson will officiate. Entombment will be in the Greenacres Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Doris Valdine Story passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born Aug. 27, 1925 in Newlin to John B. and Jewel Irene Elder Montgomery. She married John Wilmer Story on March 9, 1944 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 2012.

Mrs. Story worked as a secretary for Bradbury Insurance Company for over 20 years before retiring. She was a member of Bono Baptist Church.

Survivors include her two daughters, Sharon Jiles and husband Steve of Cleburne and Gayla Fulenwider and husband Ron of Grand Prairie; two grandchildren, Mindi Bentley and husband Kevin of Cleburne and Daniel Fulenwider of Grand Prairie; one great grandchild, Lauren Bentley of Cleburne; and sister, Faye Nelson of Shreveport, Louisiana. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
