Doris Ward

Services for Doris Ward, 66 of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Whitworth will officiate.
Doris Ward passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 30, 1942 in Burleson to Wesley Kemper and Myrtle Mae Hope Dunn. She married Bobby Lee Ward in Burleson on Nov. 30, 1978. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was a school teacher. Mrs. Ward was an endowed member of the Order Of The Eastern Star Ruth Chapter #20 and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary-Military Order of the Purple Heart.
Survivors include her husband Bobby Ward of Cleburne; daughter, Dwana Phillips and husband Michael of Cleburne; son, Kemper Edgin of Ozark, Ark.; daughter, Paula Wincek of Frisco and Virginia Black and husband Ely of Cisco; son, Bobbie Ward and wife Nancy of Miss.; 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Florence and Florene.
