Memorial services for Dorothy Mae Clement, 81, will be conducted at noon Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Dan Conley will officiate.
Dorothy Mae Clement left this world to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015. Dorothy was born Dorothy Mae Hatcher on Oct. 20, 1933, in Vernon, Texas.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Howarton. Howarton and Dorothy were married in Clayton, N.M., on July 23, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Brenda June.
She leaves behind her two sons and their spouses, Howard and Patrice Clement of Whitney, Texas, and Michael and Kerri Clement of Crowley, Texas. Dorothy dearly loved her grandchildren, Jason Alan Clement of Fort Worth, Texas, Leslie Brooks and her husband, Tim, of Burleson, Texas, Michael Clement and his wife, Kim, of Zelienople, Penn., and Brianna Darnell of Forney, Texas. Dorothy left behind five great-grandchildren, Levi Clement, Caden Clement, Tyler Brooks, Hunter Brooks and Brailey Darnell.
Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Dorothy loved her Lord and Savior. Even though the last years of her life were a constant battle, she never missed an opportunity to speak of the love of God to her caregivers. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
