Service for Dorothy Helen “Dot” Vaughan, 70, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 26, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Charles Martin and Pastor Mark Trussell will officiate. Burial will follow in Sand Flat Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Dennis, Jordan Williams, Justin Dennis, Christopher Clark, Payton Thrasher, Claye Smith, Parker Thrasher and Paxton Thrasher. Honorary pallbearers will be Cy Williams, Canyon Williams, Coy Williams, Carter King, Brice Gilpin and Chet Mears. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home.
Dorothy Helen “Dot” Vaughan passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 in Cleburne. She was born February 17, 1948 in Cleburne to Homer Mack and Lucy Lavada Robinson Dennis.
Mrs. Vaughan worked in the cafeteria of CISD before retiring. She was a member of New Heart Family Worship Center.
Survivors include her son, Matthew Vaughan and wife Kari-Ann of Joshua; mother, Lucy Lavada Watson of Cleburne; sisters, JoAnn Roy and Rhonda Gibbs and husband Yale, all of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Keathley; father, Homer Dennis, brothers, Eddy Dennis and Bobby Dennis; and a sister, Linda Bullard.
