Service for Dorothy Dean Brown Doty, 97, of Red Oak will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be at 9:00 A.M. Saturday prior to service.

Dorothy passed away May 3, 2021 in Ennis. She was born May 7, 1923 in Godley to George Franklin and Lura Homesley Brown. Dorothy marred Clifford Alonzo Doty on August 28, 1940 in Cleburne. She was in shipping and receiving at Montgomery Ward before retiring.

Dorothy is survived by son, Dean and wife Sherry of Waxahachie; daughter, Debbie Hulcy and husband Joe of Red Oak; grandchildren, Tennyson Hulcy, Michael Doty, Sarah Doty, Amy Doty; great-grandchild, Olivia Rhea Brown.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband and siblings, Fred Calvin Brown, Albert Luther Brown, Tressie Lou Dodson, Oma Lee McClure, Floyd James Brown, Marie Opal Brown, Mary Pauline Elam, Glennie Mae Clowers.
