Dorothy Elmendorf

A memorial service for Dorothy Elmendorf, 86, of Keene will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, August 2, 2015, in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church sanctuary. Pastors William Kilgore and Thomas Lemon will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-4:00 P.M., Sunday, prior to the service.
Dorothy Elmendorf passed away Friday, July 31, 2015, in Keene. She was born August 31, 1928, in Ferndale, MI to Frank Eugene and Gertrude Welch Wheelock. She married Stanley Elmendorf on October 31, 1948, in Owosso, MI.
Mrs. Elmendorf was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley Elmendorf of Keene; children, Judy Otter and husband LeRoy of Olathe, KS, Jan Lemon and husband Tom of Bennet, NE, Bruce Elmendorf and wife Becky of Jasper, GA, and Robert Elmendorf of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Tomm Lemon and wife Michelle, Kris Lemon, and Michael Elmendorf; great grandchildren, Isaac, Aiden, Audrey and Jonah Lemon; siblings, Merrill Wheelock and wife Betty and Marie Brown and husband Gene; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Edith Wheelock.
