Services for Dorothy McClure Penney, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Gene Wolfenbarger and the Reverend Bobby Rider will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Mrs. Penney passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 in Keene. She was born to Guy and Delia King McClure on August 13, 1924 in Barnesville, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith. Dorothy worked as a sales clerk for a number of years. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Penney; son, Jimmy Troutman; grandson, Wendell Penney; brothers, Jack, Bert, J.D., Abe, Dan and Buck McClure; and sisters, Mary Harris and Mable King.

Survivors include her sons, Monty Penney and his wife, Joy of Cleburne and Bobby Troutman of Godley; step daughter, Pat McClure; grandchildren, Lesle, Jody, Toby, Terrie, Tina, Billy, Danny, and Debbie; 15 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; numerous generations of nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
