Services for Dorothy Nell Anderson Rivers, 75, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Harold Wilson will officiate.
Burial will be in Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m.

Dorothy Nell Anderson Rivers passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born February 6, 1933 in Troy, TX to Arthur Warren and Ruby Clark Anderson. She married Mason Edgar Rivers, Jr. on January 6, 1949 in Mississippi. She lived in Kopperl for 36 years.

Mrs. Rivers worked as a seamstress for Walls Manufacturer and was a member of Kopperl Church of Christ.

Dorothy Rivers is survived by husband, Mason Edgar "Shorty" Rivers, Jr. of Cleburne; daughters, Karen Montville of Benbrook, Nelda Wood of Arlington, Brenda Rogers of Cleburne and Patricia Bennett of Denton; son, James Edward Rivers of Kopperl; brother, John Warren Anderson of Mineral Wells; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Wayne Anderson.
