A private graveside service for Dorothy Stalmach, 77, of Whitney, will be held in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Whitney. Visitation will be held at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home, Cleburne, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. A public memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the White Bluff Chapel, Whitney. Donations may be made to the capital funds of White Bluff Chapel, 1072 White Bluff Drive, Whitney, TX 76692 or the Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church, 715 E. Lamar Blvd. Arlington, TX 76011.
Mrs. Stalmach passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012 in Arlington. She was born to Willie Fritz and Edna Emma Werchan Heckmann on November 9, 1934 in Taylor, Texas. Dorothy married Charles Joe Stalmach on January 31, 1953 in Taylor. She was a member of Shepherd of Life Lutheran Church, Arlington and White Bluff Chapel, Whitney. Dorothy worked as an Independent Distributer with Amway for over 34 years. She was at the platinum level for over 25 years. She was active in church, spending countless hours volunteering, teaching, and singing in choir. She was a member of the Lake Whitney Garden Club. Dorothy enjoyed entertaining her friends and family. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Charles Stalmach; children and their spouses, Dennis and Nancy Stalmach, Cheryl and Dusty Thornton, Pamela and Craig Gober, and Laura and Eric Brundage; 9 grandchildren, Natalie, Ryan, Ashley, Kristen, Clint, Cade, Zachary, Emma, and Isabelle; siblings, Verlyn Huber and Raymond Heckmann; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
