Dorothy Thetford

Service for Dorothy W. Thetford, 94, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church. Reverend Charles Payne and Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, January 11, 2021 at the funeral home. The family asked those attending either function to please wear face mask.

Dorothy W. Thetford passed away January 1, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born April 20, 1926 in Joshua.
She married Willard Martin Thetford on February 2, 1945 in Alvarado. Dorothy was a sales clerk at Sears for over 30 years and at Bealls for over 15 years and retire in 2009. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and loyal friend. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kimberley Thetford of Cleburne; grandson, Jeffrey Thetford of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Kristopher Camden Thetford of Rio Vista, Jaxsen Lee Thetford of Whitney; brother, William Heine of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her father, Boyd Heine, step-mother, Irene Heine; husband, Bill Thetford in 2016, son, Jon Thetford in 2020, grandsons, Kristopher Ryan Thetford, in 2000; brother, William “Billy” Haney; stepsisters, Lavada Rogers, Faye Miller, Bobbie Barnes and step brother David Pendegras.
