Dorothy Woodard

Services for Dorothy Woodard, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 21, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Morris Springer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tim Whitlock, Barry Payne, Robert Woodard, Keith Fulfer, Larry Wheeler and Kane Fulfer.
Mrs. Woodard passed away Monday, July 16, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born April 27, 1922 in Cato, Ark. to Fulton and Beulah Skinner Farris. She married Alvin Woodard on April 28, 1950 in Durant, Okl. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1985. Mrs. Woodard was a retired registered nurse for over 40 years, with 30 years of that service as Dr. Kimbro's office nurse.
Mrs. Woodard is survived by her sister, Carnell McGuran of North Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Paul Farris of Scottsdale, Arizona and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. "Aunt Dot will forever be remembered for her smile, love for her family and friends, her love of animals, especially her two faithful dogs and the many hours spent watching and caring for "her" birds."
