Dorothy Lee Worlow, 94 years old, passed away September 15, 2015 in Houston, Texas. A visitation to celebrate her life will be at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral home in Cleburne, Texas, on Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 10 o’clock until noon.
Dorothy was born May 12, 1921 in Fort Worth Texas to Nina Faye and Paul Hall. She married Emery E. Worlow from Cleburne Texas. He preceded her in death in 1989 after 50 years of marriage.
Mrs. Worlow was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joy Lee Worlow Cumbie, a brother, Coy Hall, and a younger sister, Pauline Hall.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Kay Worlow Wilson of The Woodlands, Texas, a brother, A.W. Hall of Crowley, Texas, grandchildren, Robert Emerson Wilson of Plano, Texas, Rachel deGroot of The Woodlands, Texas, and Angela McGugin of Keller, Texas, great-grandchildren, Madison Fisher, Brant deGroot, and Quinn deGroot, and a host of other family and friends.
Mrs. Worlow was a lady that loved sewing and all types of needlecrafts. She spent hours sewing for her family and friends. She always had a craft project nearby and one in the planning stages. She was a long-time member of Granbury Street Church of Christ and enjoyed attending services. In her later years, she loved reading the newsletters from her church.
A private graveside service will be held at another time.
