Douglas Mehling

A memorial service for Douglas Robert Mehling, II, 33, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church Sanctuary. Pastor Bill Kilgore will officiate. A reception will follow in the gathering place.
Douglas Robert Mehling, II passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born December 31, 1982 in Dallas, Texas to Douglas and Rita Belz Mehling.
Douglas graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology in 2007 and completed his Masters of Divinity in 2013. Douglas also enjoyed preaching the Gospel for several years. He recently completed his autobiography, which is currently in the final editing stages and should be available in late 2016. He was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. Douglas will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Rita and Dennis Earhart of Cleburne; father and stepmother, Douglas and Patti Mehling of Tyler; brother, Daniel Mehling of Tyler; sisters, Claire Cozad and husband Jeremy of Tyler, Carlyle Mehling of Midland, and Alex Mehling and Maddy Mehling, both of Tyler; and a host of other extended family and friends.
