Douglas Wilbanks

Services for Douglas Wilbanks, 92, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Tony Wilbanks will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Don Turner, Walter Harris, Dale Harris, Gene Joslin, Blaine Wilbanks and Charles Gillespie. Honorary pallbareres will be Carl Glenn, Billy Southerland, James Hackler and Randy Whitworth.
Mr. Wilbanks passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born Dec. 12, 1914 in Happy Holler, Tex. to Luke Cathey and Irene Friou Wilbanks. Mr. Wilbanks was a graduate of TCU in 1971. He was retired from General Dynamic after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ.
Mr. Wilbanks is survived by his wife of 72 years Elisabeth Wilbanks of Cleburne; sons: Tony Wilbanks and wife Pat of Richardson and Harold Wilbanks and wife Nancy of Graham; Grandchildren, Amy Fredrickson and husband Mark of Raleigh, NC, Nancy Audra Wilbanks of Lubbock and Phillip Blaine Wilbanks of Ft. Worth; great grandchildren, Alex Fredrickson and Gracie Fredrickson of Raleigh, NC. He was preceded is death by his parents, Luke Cathy Wilbanks and Irene Friou Wilbanks Browder and two sisters, Kathlyn Chapman and Wilma Moore.
