Dove Gilleland

Services for Dove Morris Gilleland, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend W.O. Harrell, Sr. and The Reverend W.O. Harrell, Jr. will officiate.

Mrs. Gilleland passed away to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 27, 2010 in Ft. Worth. She was born April 29, 1929 in Shreveport, LA. to Edward and Hannah Bowdoin Morris. She married Walter E. Gilleland, Sr. on Sept. 11, 1945 in Neosho, Missouri. She was a homemaker.

Dove Morris Gilleland is survived by three sons, Walter "Gillie"(Lonnie Dean) Gilleland of Cleburne, "Bug" Edward Gilleland of Tulsa, OK and Bill Gilleland of Quinlan; three sisters, Ruth Stevenson of Shreveport, LA., Kathy Harrell of Mineral Wells and Lorraine Campbell of North Richland Hills; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jackie Barnes of Blanchard and one brother, Eddie Morris of Longview.
