Duane Emmons

Service for Duane R. Emmons, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 30, 2011 in the Field Street Baptist Church. The Reverend John Glover will officiate. Private burial will be Tuesday in Rosehill Cemetery.

Mr. Emmons passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born Jan. 16, 1920 in Fairfield to Glen and Ida Emmons.
Mr. Emmons served in the U. S. Army and was a retired terminal manager with 41 years service at Central Freight Lines. He served several years on the Cleburne City Council. He loved beekeeping. He was a past Cleburne Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. He also was a past president of the Cleburne Lions Club and a Sunday School teacher and Deacon at Field Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Emmons of Cleburne and one son, Mike Emmons of Dallas.
