Service for Dustin Scott Roye, 17, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016 in the First Baptist Church of Cleburne. Dr. Danny Crosby will officiate.
Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Branby, Coy Womack, Tristan Holloway, Sean Worlow, Jeremy Westerman, Tyler Roye, and Ashton Meyers.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Dustin Scott Roye passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 in Johnson County. He was born Sept. 15, 1998 in Ft. Worth to Ronald and Stephanie Chance Roye.
Dustin was a student at Brazos River Charter School, had attended Cleburne High School and was on his way to the military as soon as he graduated. He loved to camp, fish and play video games with his friends. He always was concerned for his friends’ happiness and loved spending time with his niece and nephew. Dustin was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleburne.
Survivors include his parents, Ron “Bubba” Roye and wife Nickie of Cleburne and Stephanie Wilson and husband Daryl of Burleson; two sisters, Christina Branby and husband Justin of Cleburne and Courtney Worlow and husband Sean of Cleburne; stepsister, Summer Bason of Cleburne; two stepbrothers, Hunter Bason of Cleburne and Tyler Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO; maternal grandmother, Lydia Shirley and husband Robert of Cleburne; paternal grandparents, Gary and Sarah Roye of Cleburne; niece Lea Branby of Cleburne; nephew, Carson Worlow of Cleburne; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Stephen Chance; paternal great grandmother, Martha Linch; and paternal great grandparents, Curtis and Jerry Roye.
