Dustin Paige Trussell passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Temple, Texas. He was born on October 31, 1979 in Shamrock, Texas. Dustin married Nichole Don Woodard on June 28, 2001 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a loyal and devoted husband, who loved his wife beyond measure. He worked in the oil field industry for several years, most recently as the Supervising Chief of Field Operations with Triumph Testing. It has been said that Dustin was the hardest working man you could ever meet or know – that no one outworked him in efforts or efficiency. His work ethic, honesty and high integrity made him a born leader. Dustin was a man of great thought, who never left you wondering where you stood with him or how he felt about a variety of different subjects and stances. He truly enjoyed visiting with people and often issued those he spent any amount of time with their own nickname. Dustin loved being outdoors, especially riding motorcycles, fishing, hunting or in mud parks with his wife, Nichole, at his side. He was of the Christian faith and was an avid animal lover as well. Dustin’s independent streak, strong will and love of life will be remembered and missed greatly by countless people who were blessed to know him.
