Dwain Johnson

Service for Dwain "Bud" Johnson, 74, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 16, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Neale Oliver and Mr. Benny Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benny Johnson, Rick Bailey, Scott Cody, David Muniz, Sam Hardcastle and Charles Strickland. Honorary pallbearer will be Dan Hilliard. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born May 26, 1938 in Cleburne to H. H. "Luke" Johnson and Anna "Kathleen" Vernon Johnson. He married Oneita Forsythe on Jan. 25, 1963 in Johnson County.

Dwain was a retired field representative with Texas Lime.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Oneita Johnson; son, Michael D. Johnson and wife Tonya; two grandchildren, Houston Johnson and Garrett Johnson; and brother, Ron Johnson and wife, Jane, all of Cleburne; niece, Glenda Buchanan and nephew, Tim Johnson.
