Dwain Wilson, 74, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2009 in Caddo Cemetery, Joshua, Texas.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
Dwain was born May 10, 1935 in Joshua to O.B. and Ethel McNatt Wilson. He married Patricia (Pat) Clark July 15, 1955 in Cleburne, Texas. They were married for 54 wonderful years.
He attended Caddo and Joshua schools. He retired from General Motors in Arlington. He was known for fixing everything from cars to home appliances for family and friends. Seldom was a repairman ever needed.
He was preceded in death by son, Greg Wilson; brother, John Lee Wilson and his parents.
Survivors are wife, Patricia; son, Rodney Wilson and wife, Cathy, granddaughters, Patty Wilson, Michelle Braunlin and husband Eric; grandson, Mathew Wilson; great- granddaughter, Grace Emma Braunlin; sisters, Ruth Ann Tarter and husband Bill, Carol Hudgins and fiance Paul Evans; brother, Bob Wilson, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
