Dwyght "David" Halbert

Service for Dwyght “David” Halbert, 60, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Joshua Methodist Church, 114 Paula Dr., Joshua, Tx 76058, with Robert Martin officiating. Burial to follow in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth, Tx. There will be a time of visitation for friends and family from 6-8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers are Cody Russell, Josh Bower, Harry Waldron, Chris Halbert, Luke Lamer, and Ryland Ruffner.

David passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 in Burleson. He was born January 30, 1963 in Arlington to James Donald and Marian Elaine (Nichols) Halbert. David married Noemi Banda Alvarez on September 30, 1989 in Cleburne. He owned Double D Termite and Pest Control, serving Johnson and surrounding counties for 37 years. David was of the Christian faith. He was a very godly man, who loved Jesus and accepted him as his Savior. David was a great father, grandfather, loving husband, great son and friend to all. He was extremely smart, and business minded. David was always the first to help others, enjoyed camping and going to the shooting range. He loved to host and entertain others with his love for food and grilling. David will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Noemi Banda Halbert; mother, Marian Elaine Halbert; daughters, Melissa Henson and husband, Shawn, Michelle Bower, and Christina Carrillo and husband, Bonifacio; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Halbert; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his brother, James Donald Halbert, Jr.; father, James Donald Halbert, Sr.
