Services for E.A. "Pa Pa Bear" Hutson, 80, of Rio Vista, will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. A Masonic graveside service will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Services will be conducted by Reverend Weldon Coble of Faith Temple Church, Cleburne. Pallbearers will be Mr. Hutson's nephews, Mike Hutson, Gary Hutson, Tracy Hutson, Monty Hutson, Charles Sims, Wendell Sims and Floyd Hutson. Honorary pallbearers will be, Luke Allen, Tommy Allen, Billy Hutson and Jack Jordan.

E.A. passed away Monday evening, June 8th at his home in Rio Vista surrounded by his beloved family and friends just as he had requested.
Special thanks to Community Hospice nurse, Jack for sticking with us until the end.
E.A. was born in Goatneck, Texas to Ed and Retta Anderson Hutson on December 10, 1928 and was proud to be 80 years old. He married Anita Oliver on March 3, 1950 in Weatherford.
He worked in the Store Dept. for the Santa Fe Railroad for 31 years. He was proud to be a 50 year Master Mason of the Cleburne Lodge #315. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion of Rio Vista.

Pa Pa Bear is survived by his wife, Anita Hutson of Cleburne; daughter, Sharon Cumins of Rio Vista; son, Duane and wife, Cyndi of Kopperl; brother, Billy Hutson and wife, Kay of Granbury. Also survived by his grandchildren, Brad Hutson and wife, Ashley of Rio Vista, Jeffrey Cumins and wife, Tina of Rio Vista, Amy Moses and husband, Lee of Cleburne, Audrey and Elaina Hutson of Kopperl. Great-grandchildren, Zak and Abbie Moses, Ethan and Andy Cumins, Tucker Downs, Nathan and Carman Hutson and due to be born on June 29th, Dalton Hutson and a host of other friends and relatives whom he loved very much. He was everyone's "Pa Pa Bear" young and old.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman, Virge, R. B. and Gene Hutson; sisters, Mozelle Sims and Zella Duhr and son-in-law, David Cumins.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Johnson County Division.

A special thank you to Luke Allen and Tammy Reeves for their love and devotion they gave to Pa Pa Bear these past 3 weeks and for the many friends and family that visited him. He loved all of you and your visits were worth more to him than anything in this world. He was a friend to all who knew him and is already being missed.
