Earl May

Service for Earl Wayne May, 63, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Paulson and Dr. Robert Riza will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Earl Wayne May passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born Dec. 6, 1950 in Clifton to Walter E. and Stella P. Paulson May. Earl grew up in Cranfills Gap and graduated from Cranfills Gap High School in 1969. He married Phyllis Ann Rust Riza on Aug. 28, 1976 in Cleburne. He continued his education at TSTC where he earned his Associates degree in Auto Mechanics. He was a dedicated employee for Jack Hewlett from 1975-1987. He continued with the Hillsboro Auto Dealership from 1987 until his death. He was set to retire in Jan.

Earl was a beloved member of College Heights Baptist Church where he was an active choir member and a long time Sunday school teacher. Earl was a generous and caring man and will be missed by all who knew him. Earl was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Phyllis May; children, Dr. Robert Riza and wife Cobette, Jeff Riza and wife Cheryl, Andrew May and Amanda May; grandchildren, Justin, Bobby, Cassidy and Hunter; sisters, Rita Neumann and husband Gaylon and Carol May; three nephews and several other relatives and friends.
