Earl Pierce

Service for Earl Pierce, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jordan Piety, Kent Piety, Keith Saunders, Kollin Saunders, Kyle Saunders, Eric Sams, and Jason Black. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Piety, Jaret Piety, Kasen Saunders, and Kaleb Saunders. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.

Earl Pierce passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born July 31, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN to Earl George Sr. and Orcelia Stewart Pierce. He married Helen Jewell Black on December 17, 1975 in Oklahoma.

Mr. Pierce served in the United States Army and worked as an engineer at Bell Helicopter before retiring. He was a member of the VFW Post No. 9299 in Alvarado, American Legion Post No. 50 in Cleburne, and College Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Helen Pierce; children, Larry Pierce and wife Kathy of Oklahoma City, OK, Kathy Adams and husband Dale of Harper, KS, James Sams and wife Carla of Ft. Worth, and Judy Richmond of Cleburne; two sisters, Lois Reiland of Clarksville, TN and Judy Fagan and husband Travis of Lindstrom, MN; brother, Gene Pierce and wife Donna of North Branch, MN; sister-in-law, Elaine Pierce of North Branch, MN; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Dale Pierce and Donald Pierce.
