Services for Earl Conway Senter, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at the Westhill Church of Christ. Mr. B.B. Stevens, Mr. David Wallace and Mr. Jerry Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Pallbearers will be Micah Senter, Randal Senter, Jared Senter, Derek Senter, Luke Senter, Luke Hejl and George Price. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Mr. Senter passed away Monday, October 12, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born February 10, 1924 in Alvarado to Henry Partain and Winnie B. Johnston Senter. He married his spouse, Virginia K. Williamson on April 19, 1998 in Cleburne.

Mr. Senter proudly served in World War II and Korea as a U.S. Marine. He held the rank of First Lieutenant. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. Through the years he was a ranch manager, owned Senter & Sons Feed Store and was a Realtor. He was a member of Westhill Church Of Christ. He served as an elder and bible school teacher at Central Church of Christ for many years. He served on the advisory board and President's Council for Abilene Christian University. He loved his Lord, he valued his family and heritage and he knew his final home.

Earl C. Senter is survived by his wife, Virginia Senter of Cleburne; children, Sherry Martin and husband Walter, of Cleburne, Harold Conway Senter and wife, Judy of Itasca, Gene Senter and wife, Donna of Krum; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and sister, Winnie Balentine and husband, Don of Alvarado.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Loma Rae Senter.
