Earl Smith

Graveside service for Earl L. Smith, 65, of Covington, will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 20 in the Covington Cemetery.

Earl passed away December 16, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 15, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. He married Virginia Merle Crump on July 27, 1970 in Greenville, Texas.

Earl was a shop lead man for Harsco Metals. He was a dedicated, hard working man that loved providing for his family Earl would help anyone in need. He was a loving PaPa and his grandchildren meant the world to him.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Smith of Covington; sons, William Smith and wife Tammi, Christopher Smith and wife Cristina; grandchildren, Dakota Smith, Derek Smith and wife Kelly, Evan Smith, Cameron Smith, Christy Smith, Joshua Smith, Virginia Smith, Calob Smith, Azumi Smith and Landon Smith; great grandchild, Brenden Smith; sister in law, Margie Crump; brothers Ronnie Smith and wife Cheryl, Joe Smith and wife Betty, Keith Smith and wife Lisa and several nieces and nephews.
