Earlene Wylie Doty

Service for Earlene Wylie Doty, 97, of Joshua, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. Visitation will be 4-6:00 P.M., Monday, November 23, 2020 at the funeral home.

Earlene Wylie Doty passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Joshua. She was born April 17, 1923 in Burleson to Melvin and Minnie Belle (Johnson) Payne. She was a member Granbury Street Church of Christ. Earlene was blessed with a very sharp mind. She loved the farm and was picking up pine cones off the ground at the age of 95. After moving to assisted living things were never the same since Earlene had left her happy place. She will be dearly missed.

Earlene is survived by her son, Jack Wylie and wife Stephanie; grandsons, Judd Wylie and Daniel Wylie; granddaughter Amber Wylie; niece, Carolyn Smith; nephews, Billy Price and wife Sharon, Dale Payne and wife Janis; cousin James Johnson and wife Charlotte and other extended family and loving friends.

Earlene is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, C. Floyd Wylie and James “Buddy” Doty; brother, Dale Payne and sister Lola Belle Price
