Edmund Bottke

Services for Edmund A. Bottke, 76, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 5, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in the Schenevus Cemetery, Schenevus, NY. The family will receive visitors before the service from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M.

Mr. Edmund A. Bottke, a farmer, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Rio Vista. He was born July 15, 1933 in Germany to Amanda Bottke. He married Marcia Wisley on Sept. 3, 1977.

Edmund is survived by his sons, Joe Cooper and wife, Barbara of Watauga and Mike Cooper and wife, Barbara of Clear Lake; daughter, Marcia Thompson and husband, Grady of North Richland Hills; granddaughters, Carolyn Sue Cooper Karow and husband, Dan of Howard Beach, NY, Elizabeth Cooper, Stacy Cooper and Jennifer Thompson; grandson, Brian Thompson; great-granddaughter, Mary Ayla; sister-in-law Rosalie Barnes, Doris Wilsey and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Bottke in Feb. 2009; mother, Amanda Bottke and aunt, Martha.
