Edna Hackler

Graveside service for Edna Hackler, 88, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 in Rio Vista Cemetery. Jason Hackler will officiate. Visitation will be from 7:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Edna Hackler passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 in Grandview. She was born July 27, 1925 in Alvarado to James Wesley and Stella Nancy Ann Wylie Harwell. She married Wintie Lee Hackler on March 2, 1946 in Johnson County and he preceded her in death in 1984.

Mrs. Hackler was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her son, Darrell Hackler and wife Melissa of Grandview; three grandchildren, Elijah Hackler, Kevin Hackler and Jason Hackler; two great grandsons; and three siblings, Nancy Hutchison, Kenneth Harwell, and Alfred Harwell. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dianne Hackler; son, Wesley Dean Hackler; brothers, J.W. Harwell, Stanley Harwell, and Billy Harwell; sister, Betty Hall and an infant sister, Evelyn.
