Edna Ingle

Edna Ingle, 87, of Grandview, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 in Grandview. She was born March 6, 1921 in Whitney to Charlie and Mamie Biffle Dennis. She was married to T.J. Ingle on August 31, 1948.
Mrs. Ingle taught first grade at East Handley Elementary for 31 years.
Before entering the Fort Worth school system, Mrs. Ingle was a teacher in Hill County and Tarrant County for 7 years. In 1974, she was chosen to be included in Outstanding Elementray Teachers of America. She retired from teaching in 1979.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years.
