Graveside services for Edna Pyeatt Reed, 97, homemaker and lifelong resident of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 15, 2014 in the Grange Hall Cemetery, Rio Vista. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from2:00-4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1200 W. Kilpatrick, Cleburne, Texas 76033.

Edna Pyeatt Reed was born December 28, 1916 in Rio Vista, Texas to Ed and Lula Gatewood Pyeatt. Mrs. Reed was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Edna married Roy B. Reed on September 28, 1945 in Fort Worth. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 brothers; 3 sisters-in-law; 1 niece and 1 nephew.

Survivors include her son, Phil Reed and wife, Patti; grandchildren, Janie Reed Moore and Jason Reed; great grandchildren, Tyler Moore, Broc Moore, and Sydney Paige Moore; nephew, Jack Reed, Jr. and wife, Sandy; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Ridgeview Rehab and Nursing Care Center along with the staff of Heart to Heart Hospice for the loving care they gave to Edna in her last days.
