Service for Edna Skiles, 75, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, Mar. 7, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor DeWaun Ashley will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Edna Skiles passed away Friday, Mar. 4, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born August 2, 1940 in Hill County to Jody and Gussie Fair Brown. She married Charles Skiles on April 28, 1962 in Ft. Worth.
Mrs. Skiles was a school cafeteria worker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 53 years, Charles Skiles of Cleburne; sons, Carl Meeks and wife Belinda, Tommy Meeks, and Curtis Skiles, all of Cleburne; stepdaughter, Debbie Skiles of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Charla, Ashley, Justin, Trey, Felicia, Tiphinie, Heather, Kholt, T.J., and Crystal; many great grandchildren; sister, Edith Fergason of Blum; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
