Graveside services for Edna Pearl Vaughan, 85, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Greenacres Memorial Park. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate.
Edna Pearl Vaughan passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born March 24, 1924 in Hill County, TX to Wallace Clifton and Sallie Bet Clark Brewer. She married William Carl Vaughan on December 24, 1946 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Vaughan was a hair dresser. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Golden Agers Club.
Edna Pearl Vaughan is survived by her daughter, Rita McVicker and husband, Billy Joe of Cleburne; stepson, Marvin Carl Vaughan and wife Dianna of Bridgeport; granddaughters, Charla Corder, Marla Sharp and husband, Shon and Shawna Blanchette and husband, Ike; grandson, Steven McVicker; four step-grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Vaughan in 1999; also five brothers and three sisters.
