Service for Edward O’Ferrall Pauly, 82, of Keene will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Benji Leach will officiate. Private family interment will be in Keene Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steven Pauly, Tad Long, Garrett Long, Ron Smith, Fred DeLaurentis and Andy Granda. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Edward O’Ferrall Pauly passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 in Cleburne. He was born April 17, 1935 in Litchfield Park, AZ to Frank O’Ferrall and Pearl Rew Lienhardt Pauly. He married the love of his life, Janet Wahl on Dec. 10, 1955 in San Bernadino, CA and she preceded him in death on December 24, 2013.
Mr. Pauly was a high school graduate of Newbury Park Academy and graduate of Las Sierra University in Riverside, CA. He was the editor and publisher of multiple newspapers throughout his 30 year career in journalism. He and Janet also worked for AIM International as an independent distributor for health supplement products for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his children, Steven Pauly of Houston, Cindy DeLaurentis and husband Fred of Alvarado, Mike Pauly of Lancaster and Michelle Long and husband Tad of Cleburne; son by choice, Ron Smith and wife Sherrie of Keene; grandson, Garrett Long and wife Breana of Dallas; brother, Wyn Pauly of Mt. Vernon, WA; and many other relatives and friends, who will miss him greatly. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
