Edwin Meek

Services for Edwin Fulton Meek, 77, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Interment will be Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in the DFW National Cemetery. Lane B. Pallbearers will be Audie Wienckie, Wayne Waldrop, Cory Waldrop, Ray Redden, Jerry Meek and Donny Martindale.
Edwin Fulton Meek passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born March 2, 1930 in Parker, TX to Hedrick F and Aline Todd Meek. He married Ellie Kitchens on April 1, 1955 in Navarro County, TX.
Mr. Meek served in the US Air Force and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista.
Edwin Meek is survived by his wife, Ellie Meek of Rio Vista; daughters, Janet Frizzell and husband, Mike of Cleburne and Rebecca Wilson of Granbury; brother, Grady Meek and wife, Jean of Cleburne; grandchildren, Chris Frizzell of Cleburne and Johnie Wilson of Granbury; one great-grandchild, Zander Frizzell of Cleburne and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-in-law, Billy Wilson.
