Elaine Blackmon

A Graveside service for Elaine Blackmon, 90, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Jerry Clements will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.Elaine Blackmon passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born October 12, 1926 in Arkansas to Charles Robert and Dora (Asberry) Montgomery. She married Raymond Moore on March 17, 1945.
She worked as a seamstress at Texel Industries for many years and was a member of Lane Prairie Baptist Church.
She is survived by her grandchildren Josh (Nita) Wallace of Cleburne and Amelia Wallace of Azle; great-grandchild Hagen Ballard and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond in 1973; daughter Linda Sue Wallace and three sisters.
