Elaine Chastain

Elaine Chastain, 62, a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother "Mimi" and friend passed away on Friday, June 17, 2005, after a courageous two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer and is now waiting for the coming of her Lord.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will take place at the Keene Memorial Park, Keene, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:30 PM, Monday, at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband of forty-two and one-half years, Dwain Chastain; Children: son, Randell Dwain Chastain, of Keene, Texas, daughter, Debra Elaine Johnson and husband, Kevin, of Deltona, Florida and son, James Lavern Chastain, of Alvarado; Grandchildren, Catherine (Katie) Elaine Chastain, Kimberly Paige Chastain, Michelle Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Brandon Johnson and Brent Johnson;Parents, Lavern A. and Nelda Hunter; brother, Ron Hunter and wife, Sue Ann and family; Parents-in-law, Herman and Dolly Chastain; and numerous additional family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Campfire USA, Work/Family Dept., 2700 Meacham Blvd., Fort Worth, 76159 and PanCAN Pancreatic Cancer Research Organization.
