Elaine Keith

Graveside service for Elaine “Mimi” Keith, 78, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 13, 2023 in Rosehill Cemetery. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.

Elaine passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 in Fort Worth. She was born August 18, 1944, in Fort Worth to Roy and Mamie Sue (Guthrie) Pettigrew. Elaine married Ronald B. “Ronnie” Keith on August 10, 1962 in Cleburne. She was of the Baptist faith. Elaine was “The Boss” ~ an independent lady who did things her way. She spent countless hours playing cards, bingo and slot machines. Elaine enjoyed camping outdoors, but family gatherings were favorites of hers. She strove to ensure family ties stayed tight. Elaine will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Greg Keith and Phillis Oliver, and Petti Davis and Chuck; grandchildren, Ben Keith and Mady, Garron Keith, and Lara Hall and Clif; great-grandchildren, Benleigh, Kole, Ellie, Clara, Laine and Cline; sisters-in-law, Connie Musgrove, and Eva Pettigrew; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Elaine was preceded in death by her dad, Roy Pettigrew; mother, Mamie Sue (Gutherie) Bruce and stepdad, E.A. “Mutt” Bruce; husband, Ronnie Keith who passed away June 26, 2015; siblings, Dwayne Bruce, Alvin Pettigrew, Calvin Pettigrew and Rhonda Sandoval.
