Elaine Lanman

Services for Elaine Lanman, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Robert Graham will officiate. Burial will be in the Bono Cemetery.
Mrs. Lanman passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 in Cleburne. She was born Feb. 11, 1931 in Johnson County, to J.D. and Margaret Bell Decker Strickland. She married Don Lanman on Aug. 20, 1949 in Weatherford. Mrs. Lanman was a retired operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and a member of the Field Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lanman is survived by three sons; Mike Lanman and wife Coletta of Pearland, Steve Lanman and wife Nancy of Cleburne and Phil Lanman and wife Judy of North Richland Hills; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Strickland and wife Sally of Bono; sisters Linda Bolling and husband Gary of Cleburne, Nelda Parker of Cleburne and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Don in Jan. 1998 and her parents J.D. and Margaret Strickland.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
