Eldon Whitworth

A family visitation for Eldon Whitworth, 76, of Ft. Worth, will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008, from 4-6 p.m. in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m.on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at First Jefferson Uniterian Church, 1959 Sandy Ln., Fort Worth, TX. The Rev. Craig Roshaven will officiate.

Eldon Whitworth passed away Monday, January 21, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born May 13, 1931 in Cleburne, TX to Marion Columbus and Edna Blanch McKeever Whitworth.
Mr. Whitworth was boilermaker for Santa Fe Railroad for 35 1/2 years. He was a member of Birdville Church of Christ.

Eldon Whitworth is survived by his wife, Jeannie Dietz of Ft. Worth; daugthers, Nannette Underwood and husband, Ed of Cleburne and Cindy Lea Whitworth of Ft. Worth; son, Keith Lynn Whitworth of Cleburne; step-sons, Jessie Brown (Cindy Amisano) of Atlanta, GA and Tony Brown and wife, Kathy of Garland; grandchildren, Robin Brown and Zoe Brown; sister, Nell Buchanan and husband, James of Burleson; brother, Calvin Whitworth and wife, Mildred of Cleburne and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Whitworth and son, Michael Whitworth.
