Services for Elizabeth "Betty" McGinty, 70, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. John Hennessy will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
Betty McGinty passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in Woodway, TX. She was born August 9, 1937 in Ft. Worth, TX to Herbert Carl and Dora Davis Gersbach. She married Joseph McGinty on January 16, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois.
Mrs. McGinty was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Trinity Valley Quilt Guild.
Betty McGinty is survived by her children, Carol Elizabeth McDonald and husband, Bruce of Zurich, Switzerland, Kathleen Ann Miller of Woodway, TX, Heather Teresa McGinty of Austin, TX and Joseph Patrick McGinty and wife, Baltija of Napa, CA; grandchildren, Laura Elizabeth Miller, Katherine Louise Miller, Eleanor Louise McDonald, Alan Patrick McDonald, Aria Eliana McGinty and Lukas Joseph McGinty; brother, Herbert Carl Gersbach of College Station, TX and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. McGinty, Jr. on October 19, 2002 and brother, Donald Gersbach.
Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral, Elizabeth Victory will officiate
