Ella Casarez

Service for Ella Jean Vedder Casarez, 62, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 at the Heights Church. Reverend Steve McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raul Lozada, Ismael Solis, Randy Shastid, Tino Hernandez, Earl Sanders and Patrick Britt. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Monday, at the funeral home.

Ella Jean Vedder Cazarez passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Ft. Worth. She was born Oct. 23, 1955 in Cleburne to Leon and Ella Mae Hart Vedder. She married Jessie Joe Casarez on Oct. 2, 1980 in Glen Rose.

She worked in food service 19 years for CISD before retiring. Ella was a member of the Heights Church.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 37 years, Jessie Joe Casarez of Cleburne; daughter, Monica Lozada and husband Raul of Cleburne; son, Jesse Joe Casarez of Greenville; grandchildren, Ofelia Solis and Ismael Solis; beloved baby Gismo Boy, her Chihuahua; grandpuppy, Pinky Lee; and additional loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Pedro Solis, Jr.
