Ella Lee Scott

Service for Ella Lee Scott, 65, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Larry Schneider will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Ellison, Johnny Smith, Cuney Echols, Zackary Smith, Eugene Ellison and Raymond Ellison. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Finley, Johnny Terry and Terrance Hicks. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Ella Lee Scott passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born Dec. 1, 1950 in Rawls to John L. and Alberta McBride Smith. She married Walter Gene Scott, II in 1976 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1999.
Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo Church of Christ.
Survivors include her three daughters, Niccole Brown and son-in-law Dan Finley, Shannon Terry and son-in-law Johnny, all of Cleburne and Karen Scott of Los Angeles, CA; sons, Walter Gene Scott, III of Ft. Worth and Calvin Scott of Corsicana; four grandchildren, Zackary, Terrance, Helen and Genesis; one great grandchild, Adrian; three brothers, Bobby Gene Ellison and John Smith, both of Cleburne and Cuney Echols of Ft. Worth; sisters, Thelma Morgan of Dallas and Naomi Echols of Mexia; mother-in-law, Inez Scott; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marie Jones; two brothers, John L. Smith and Maurice Echols; and father-in-law, Walter Gene Scott.
