Memorial services for Ellen Marie Moore Madsen, 69, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the Cleburne Seventh-day Adventist Church. Chaplain Larry Schneider will officiate. Inurnment will be at the DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
Ellen Marie Moore Madsen passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born January 10, 1948 in Elmhurst, IL to John Wilborne and Edythe Mae Fergot Moore. She married Harold Lewis Madsen on May 21, 1999 in Valley View.
Mrs. Madsen was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a dear friend to many. She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Harold L. Madsen of Cleburne; sons, Ryan Mourer and wife Tessa of Granbury and Harold Madsen, Jr. and wife Jeanie of Lincoln, NE; daughters, Bethany Mourer of Katy, Nikki Stecki and husband Ed of Corinth, Yvette Bendix of Phoenix, AZ and Heather Schultz of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Madison, Airah, Peyton, Avery, Kalyn, Joey, Adam, Taylor, Zack, Mallory, Brooks, Meghan, Kenneth, Justin and Kelsey; brother, David Moore and wife, Glenda; sister, Jan Mitchell and husband Harry; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents.
