Graveside services for Ellen Denece Tillery, 47, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 14, 2011 in the Rosehill Cemetery, Cleburne. Mrs. Tillery passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born to James William, Jr. and Mary Ellen Halverson Taylor on November 24, 1963 in Barstow, California. Ellen was of the Lutheran faith. She worked as a bartender, house cleaning, and set ups for Eckerd Drug stores for several years. Ellen was known for her smile and good hearted nature. It has also been said that she was an intelligent lady. She was a talented cook and enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. Ellen adored her dogs, Vandy and Amanda. She will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her parents, Mary Ellen and Henry (Hank) Styne, and James William (Jim) Taylor, Jr.; siblings and their spouses, Tony Taylor, Debbie and Rod Harlan, Christine and William Hughes, Rick and Carolyn Styne, Mike and Lynnette Styne, Joe and Van Styne, Kenneth and Lynn Styne, Eric and Kari Styne; grandmother, Mary Halverson; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been set up for donations in Ellen's honor at the First Financial Bank, P.O. Box 537, Cleburne, Texas 76033.
