Elsie Sartor

Service for Elsie Sartor, 89, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, May 25, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Mark Ely will officiate. Burial will be in Lane Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 P.M., Saturday, at the funeral home.

Elsie Sartor passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014. She was born September 7, 1924 in Liverpool, England to William Alexander and Elizabeth Bell Whitehead. She married Willie Porter Sartor on March 3, 1944 in Liverpool, England and he preceded her in death on May 6, 1996.

Mrs. Sartor was a homemaker and past member of the G.I. Bride’s Club. She was a member of College Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Gary Porter Sartor and wife Jolene of Cleburne; daughter, Chris Bentley of Burleson; five grandchildren, Stacy Whitney of Joshua, Steve Sartor of Cleburne, Shawna Sartor of Cleburne, Casey Barker of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Chase Bentley of Midlothian; eight great grandchildren, Corey Whitney, Justice Perkins, Caleb Perkins, Audrey Barker, Hudson Barker, Arden Barker, Callie Bentley and Zoey Bentley. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and two brothers.
