Elva Shrader

Services for Elva William "E.W." Shrader, Jr., 73, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2008 in the Bethel Temple Assembly of God, 600 Colonial Dr., Cleburne. Pastor Mike Mizell and Rev. Wayne McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park.

E.W. Shrader, Jr. passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Cleburne. He was born October 5, 1935 in Iredel, TX to Elva William and Grace Lou Siddall Shrader. He married Janie Lea Duvall on August 24, 1974 in Cleburne.

Mr. Shrader served in the AirForce and retired after 40 years of service as a machinist for Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God and the Masonic Lodge of Cleburne.

E.W. Shrader, Jr. is survived by his wife, Janie Shrader of Cleburne; daughter, Christy Thacker and husband, Danny of Cleburne; step-sons, David Lassiter of Cleburne and Danial Lassiter and wife, Jennifer of Lubbock; step-daughters, Rebecca VanWinkle and husband, Les of Ft. Worth and Rhonda Ratlif of Rock Port; fourteen grandchildren, Taylor (Merideth), Brittanie, Garrett, Reid, Drew and Kael Lassiter; Krystle, Kyle and Kash Ratliff; Jeremy and Erika VanWinkle; Bryan and Lauren (Craig) Thacker; brother, Harold Shrader and wife, Mary Helen of Nevada and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Daphine Shrader.
