Service for Elvis F. Phillips, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 28, 2022, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Donald Worlow will be officiating, along with Reverend Kenny Worlow and Reverend Phil Vaughn assisting. Burial will follow in Brazos Point Cemetery in Bosque County. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Troy Smith, Hal Smith, Brett Shipley, Greg Ragon, Trent McFarland, Jimmy Don Worlow, and Billy McFarland.
Elvis passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022, at his home. He was born April 18, 1938, in Eulogy, Texas to Elmer Farrar and Elfe Lonnie (Reagan) Phillips. Elvis married Marynell Worlow in Cleburne on June 17, 1960, she passed away on August 28, 2011. He married Suzanne Shipley on April 15, 2017, in Rio Vista. Elvis was a member of Brazos Point Pentecostal Church. He worked as a Customer Service Engineer with Rangaire Corporation with 47 years of service.
Elvis is survived by his wife, Suzanne Phillips of Cleburne; sons, Jeff Phillips and spouse, Jeannee of Joshua, Rocky Phillips and spouse, Rosie Strode of Cresson; grandchildren, Jake Phillips and Jaci Phillips both of Joshua; sister, Carolyn Fincher and spouse, Steve of Alvarado; numerous nieces and nephews; stepchildren, Leslie Smith and spouse, Troy of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Brett Shipley and spouse, Tanya of Burleson; step-grandchildren, Annie, Suzanna, Hal, Colton, and Makenzie; along with numerous step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Elfe Phillips; and sister, Wanda Phillips.
