Graveside services for Emilio Ortiz, 50, of Cleburne will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Rosehill Cemetery.

Emilio Ortiz passed away March 14, 2013 in Brewster County. He was born April 5, 1962 in Mexico to Atenedoro Ortiz and Mariana Galvan. He married Sophia Gudino in 1993 in Mexico.

Mr. Ortiz was self employed in construction. Emilio was a happy man who loved music, dancing and the outdoors. He was very family oriented and always willing to help others any chance he could. Emilio was of the Catholic faith. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his father, Atenedoro Ortiz; wife, Sophia Ortiz; children, Lucero Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz, Mariana Ortiz and Emilio Ortiz Jr.; two grandchildren, Emily and Israel; siblings, Hortencia, Maria, Juana, Estela, Francisca, Belen, Armando and Miguel; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Irene Esparza; a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mariana Galvan.
