Enid Kingston

Graveside services for Mrs. Enid Irene Kingston, 88, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 30, 2010 in the Rosehill Cemetery. The Rev. Ferris Whitehead and the Rev. Steve McCoy will officiate.

Mrs. Kingston, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010. She was born December 26, 1921 in Fort Worth to Lillian Louella and James Thomas Bennett. She married Neal F. Kingston, Jr. on May 28, 1937 in Weatherford. They shared a wonderful 72 years of marriage prior to his death on October 15, 2009. She was of the Baptist faith and her faith in God sustained her in the last weeks of her life.

Irene is survived by one son, Jimmy Neal Kingston of Venus; two daughters, Carolyn Futrell and husband John of Rio Vista and Kathy Jones and husband, Casey of Bono; one sister, Francis Noll of Arlington and one brother, Marvin Hamilton and wife Jean of Cleburne; eight grandchildren, Casey Dan, Glenn, Tracy, Chad, Angie, Michael, Cheryl and Ray; six step-grandchildren, DeAnn, Jay, Jeff, Jan, Vicky and Bill; also numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Neal, three brothers, five sisters and one daughter-in-law, Mary Kingston.
